Mining in Zambia.
Comment for Public interest
Zambian mines have a long history started from colonial administration were British company ruled most of African countries in search of minerals, yes this is true in a face of development, cause these mines belong to a particular country like Zambia , we as a country run mines since independence 1964 to date, then what is the problem which mines brought and benefits to our country Zambia, most of our mines in Zambia are not run by government, why this is so, government officials need to explain why almost all mine are not run by the government, if we take a look at the province which have mines, northern province , they is no employment activities now, than before early years after independence, people migrate and migrated from this province in search of employment to other provinces were they are no mines, mining should be a big government employment industry, which is opposite, we can simply say mining industry in Zambia brings poverty and land is wasted for nothing, its better to find alternative other than opening up lands and disperse our people for the benefit of minority Zambians and foreign investors.
